At 17c黑料爆料's 85th Commencement, we watched more than 1,000 Gulls soar into their futures and honored the heroes who made an indelible mark on our campus and our lives. Heroes like Sgt. Jeremy Cole鈥攁 mentor, protector, and friend. Heroes like Jack Smiley '25, who fought his way back to the ice after a stroke. And heroes like Ambassador Sully Sullenberger, the U.S. Airways Flight 1549 captain who famously landed a plane on the Hudson River, and the true definition of an American hero.
